Howdy Reader! I’m constantly amazed and encouraged by the creativity and resourcefulness of other creators. Since I’m big into repurposing, I’ve dabbled in the Amazon Influencers program for several years. I like the idea of filming videos on things I already have purchased for the business to make a little extra cha-ching. For me, it seemed a little like investing—not an immediate cash cow, but nickels and dimes that would stack up over time. That led me to be trained up in the way of the Amazon Influencer by Jim and Chris, the Jedis over at Dealcasters. During this training, I got to meet some great creators who sell live on Amazon. That’s where this week's guest comes in… I’d seen Billy Thorpe around many of the same sellers' Facebook groups and some Zoom meetings, but what really impressed me was when we were able to hang out and chat a bit at Ecamm’s Creator Camp. Billy has embraced what many sellers sneer at and has made that his bread and butter. His creative thinking has led to landing over 3,100 brand deals and working with 500+ e-commerce sellers. I can’t wait for you to get a chance to ask him your questions. So join us LIVE today at 10 am central. See ya there, -Jeff P.S. Stay on top of your online meetings without breaking the bank! Ecamm’s new Zoom integration is a total game-changer, and with competitive pricing, top-tier support, and an incredible community, you get unbeatable value. We’re talking with Jerry Potter, YouTube expert, multi-channel builder, and coach to entrepreneurs who want results in half the time. He’s helped creators get recommended, break plateaus, and finally reach the people they’re trying to serve. We’ll dig into: Why YouTube is recommending small channels more than ever The real reason your channel...
Howdy Reader! First, a quick story. I don’t know about you, but our family has a habit of sending funny videos to each other, especially from Instagram. I shared a funny clip to my daughter Abby, and she responded to me, “Dad, that’s AI!” So two things… First, I was a little embarrassed. I’m the guy who talks and trains people on AI, and I let this slip past me. Second, based on her reaction, does humor hit differently when you know it’s AI? This really got me thinking: Are we (as creators,...
Howdy Reader! Thinking about using a podcast to grow your business? This week on Social Media News Live, I’m chatting with Katie Brinkley, a longtime podcaster and social media strategist who’s helped major brands and solo creators build shows that actually support business goals. Katie’s “less is more” approach keeps things simple while bringing in more qualified leads (without becoming yet another overwhelming task). We’ll dig into: Structuring a show that attracts the right listeners (and...
