Well, that's exactly what happened after last week's "Did OpenAI just kill Canva?" newsletter. (Stay tuned for more on that - I just was interviewed by the fabulous Kate Ahl from Simple Pin Media about this very topic!)

But right now, I've got some HUGE news that could change how we all work as creators.

Remember back in the day when we had to chunk up long text just to feed them into ChatGPT because it had a memory like a goldfish? Those days are officially over, my friend!

Sam Altman and the OpenAI crew just dropped some updates that will affect you as a creator:

• ChatGPT now has a memory like an elephant - it'll remember your history, style, and business details
• A supercharged coding upgrade that's leading the industry
• Massive improvements in following instructions (if only my cat had this upgrade...)
• Enhanced long-context understanding that's setting new records

Here's the thing that's got me thinking - I mentioned last week that I upgraded to the $200 level to get my slides done for Social Media Marketing World. I was planning to cancel after this month, but these new features have me reconsidering.

I mean, $200 a month for an AI assistant that knows your business inside and out? That's less than what we Texans spend on BBQ sauce!

Quick heads up - while these updates are currently only available through their API if you're using Magai, you've already got access! (Dustin added it practically before OpenAI finished their announcement - which is why I love Magai so much!)
