Howdy Reader! You know what's funny about conferences? Just when you think you've got everything figured out, our AI overlords throw you a curveball that makes your slide deck about as relevant as My Space templates. I just got back from speaking at Social Media Marketing World, and my head is BUZZING with all the amazing insights and innovations. I can't wait to share with you. This year was especially mind-blowing because they added their first-ever AI track. The amount of game-changing information shared was incredible. (And yes, I took notes. Lots of them. Just for you!) And speaking of game-changers... ChatGPT decided to drop their new image model right before the conference. Talk about timing! I literally had to update my slides in real-time. But that's a story (and some pretty exciting developments) for another email... BUT, I need to share something with you. We've made the decision to cancel this week's live show. As much as I love our weekly chats, sometimes life reminds us that there are things more important than content and conversations—and this is one of those moments. Our scheduled guest is dealing with some personal matters so we're going to hit pause and send our support their way. We'll have them back when the timing is right for everyone.
