Howdy Reader! AI as a relationship coach? Say what? Most of us have used AI in some form or another now. Either by having it summarize YouTube videos, create captions for our content, or even using ChatGPT to write a letter to Grandma (Please, no more hand-knitted sweaters this year! They’re itchy!) At the same time, AI assistants started reading LinkedIn to answer questions like "who should I hire for this?" So now we know both new...
Howdy Reader! Mike Allton is one of my BBFs (which stands for Before Beard Friend). I've known him since the Google Plus days, which, in internet years, was right after AOL stopped sending you floppy discs. So when he asked me to join his new podcast, The AI Social Playbook, I said yes before he finished the sentence. He had me walk through the animated open for The Makers Table, my Friday craft show with Katie Fawkes. Claymation-style, twelve scenes, two characters who still look like the...
Howdy Reader! Eighteen Disney Legends. Twenty years of conversations. And almost none of them used the word magic. They said curious. They said story. They said detail. They said we tried it, it did not work, and we tried something else. Today, we're sitting down with Lou Mongello, host and creator of WDW Radio and a Podcast Hall of Fame inductee, who has been sitting across the table from the people who actually built Disney since 2005. Imagineers, composers, animators, and the executives...
