In July, Marielou Mandl shipped more than nine client videos, did on-site production, and got engaged.

She still felt like she had done nothing.

It wasn't that she hadn't worked. It was that none of the work was hers. Client work comes with a deadline and someone waiting on it, and her own channel came with neither, so it got put on the back burner every time.

Now, every Friday, her company books her as the client. The project gets shot, edited, and published that same day, or it doesn't happen.
