Why I'm not in the studio this week...

Howdy Reader!

Greetings from sunny Orlando! I just finished speaking at the fantastic Aventureros event, surrounded by some of the kindest travel agents you'll ever meet!

With me heading to Ecamm's Creator Camp, and the Unsinkable Conor Brown off chasing golf balls across Ireland, we're taking a brief pause on this week's live recording of Creator News Live.

But don't worry - we've got some AMAZING new guests lined up that I can't wait to introduce to you! (Being on the road has its perks when it comes to meeting incredible creators.)

Speaking of amazing content, if you missed my recent four-day training for Ecamm, you can catch the replay on our YouTube channel.

Fridays are one of my favorite days because I get to hang out with YOU. While I hate missing our regular live show, there are some seriously great things coming down the pipeline.

Have a fantastic weekend!

See ya around the interwebs,

-Jeff

And if everyone's hitting the same "easy" button, we're just creating content that's about as memorable as elevator music. That’s...

Howdy Reader! Ever stood in front of your suitcase, after traveling, looking at the wadded up receipts you threw in the suitcase, wondering if that next conference ticket is worth it? I get it. With virtual everything these days, it's easy to question whether in-person events are still worth the investment. (Spoiler alert: They absolutely can be... if you do them right!) That's exactly what my friend Paul Gowder from PowWows.com and I will be diving into on this week's show. We both just got...

Howdy Reader! I had the funniest moment during a presentation recently. I was trying to explain how I blanked out on something by comparing it to a dial tone, and I got met with a sea of blank stares from the younger folks in the audience. It hit me; dial tones are now vintage! These days, some people have never even heard that distinctive "beeeeeeep" when picking up a landline phone. That moment made me realize how easy it is to miss the mark when we assume everyone shares our same reference...
